Dell EMC Partners Face Heat To Boost Sales, Keep Tier Status

"I'm still waiting for any documentation whatsoever from Dell EMC," said Mark McKeever, partner MicroAge, a Tempe, Ariz.-based solution provider that worked closely with Dell before the merger and has been assigned to the Dell EMC program's Titanium tier. "We participated in planning sessions. We were told we'd get details, but I can't say we've gotten any. I know shockingly little. I don't know how to plan, but I assume things will be rational and reasonable."
The $58 billion Dell EMC merger closed in early September. Executives have promised ironclad deal registration, and have said they'd follow a partner-led strategy for some commercial storage, server and networking sales.
