He says companies simply can’t design HCI that is simultaneously a perfect fit for a customer with 100 virtual machines, and that scales to 100,000. Likewise, systems can’t be “super integrated” with VMware and with Open Stack, Hyper-V and optimized for cloud-native apps and containers. A system that tries to hit all those points will simply fail to do any of those things very well, Sakac explains.
