What is your vision for TNS?

Our Telecommunication Services Division has long held a position of privilege amongst CSPs who place a unique trust in TNS to carry and route their traffic and connect their subscribers with information and each other
We are actively building on that heritage with our client-partners as we innovate and transcend traditional connectivity and infrastructure services into 21st Century solutions ranging from IP/LTE/5G internetworking, to big data analytics and monetization, mobile applications, cloud  services and Internet of Things enablement. More than ever, today's TNS is about connecting carriers to one another and their commercial and residential subscribers across all communications and content modalities and channels.

Do you see TNS doing anything in the Internet of Things space?

TNS already participates in the Connected Life ecosystem whether as a roaming and clearing partner for connected car applications or registry and routing services for connected devices in the home or office. I think it is important to note that MNO's are not the only folks playing in this space – MSO and Fiber To The Home (FTTH) players have deployed tens of millions of WiFi access points, both public and private, to which all manner of devices will be attached. TNS is well positioned, often as an incumbent partner, across all operators and in many cases with the device and application developers as part of the evolving IoT/M2M enablement hubbing fabric.

What is the next big thing for TNS? Is it a new service, solution, partnership?

What excites the folks here at TNS is that our existing foundation has all of the building blocks – a tremendous customer base, top technical talent, a robust network, authoritative data assets and enterprise and consumer facing software applications to serve the evolving communications market and propel us along the continuum from connectivity to information services and analytics.

Some of these solutions are being developed organically and others synthesized with partners. Watch for innovative and disruptive service offerings for traditional CSPs and emerging cloud, OTT and IoT models. Wherever carriers, enterprises and consumers need to be connected to one another to communicate, deliver or access content or analyze and monetize data, TNS will be highly involved and driving next generation solutions.
