During the Great Depression, D&H sold radios, one of the few “depression proof” items at the time. In the 1950s, the company sold the first color TVs; and in the '80s the first home computers. Today, D&H is looking into how to capitalize on the Internet of Things and the device-as-a-service business model.
Looking toward what the future offers, Schwab said, is an important part of what the company does.
“We have to look at where the puck is going.”
