Is the IT skills gap impacting your hiring plans in any way, especially in the Bay Area?

It's challenging. Recruiting is challenging based on where we're located here in Silicon Valley because we have a lot of the large organizations as well as a lot of startups … Our best recruiting actually is our employees and our end users, as well [as] our manufacturers. They give us references to individuals who would be a good fit to the organization.

Any particular area that's concerning when it comes to the skills gap? Any particular positions where you're having trouble?

We're having challenges filling security today. That seems to be one of the more challenging ones. Some of the other stuff that we're making investments in around DevOps and net ops -- those guys are hard to come by as well but we're having more success in that space.
