Now let's flip that on its head. What do boomers in sales absorb more easily from millennials. What's tougher for them to learn?
I think they need to know that you shouldn’t wear pleats in your pants, you shouldn't have cuffs on, you shouldn't carry a briefcase. You probably shouldn't wear a suit and tie.
You've got to stay contemporary, look contemporary, you've got to talk contemporary, you've got to act contemporary. Don’t use all the old clichés. Don’t tell me you're a people person. Have an image of being contemporary.
Millennials can teach us – if we pay attention – how to dress, how to talk, how to use the tools, and how to use our age to our advantage.
