Unified communications took the No. 7 spot in the survey, with 32 percent of CIOs targeting this technology for increased investment in 2017.
UC has held the seventh spot for three years. Roughly 35 percent of surveyed CIOs marked the technology as an area for more spending last year, 37 percent in 2015.
