Samsung Notebook 9

Like Microsoft with its Surface Book, Samsung has been putting some energy into producing a laptop that can compete with the mighty MacBook Pro. The result is the Notebook 9, which brings the killer combination of portability (0.57 of an inch and 2.9 pounds), power (Intel Core i5 or i7) and durability. (It's built from aluminum and magnesium alloy.) The laptop comes in 13- and 15-inch versions, which have starting prices of $1,000 and $1,200, respectively (8 GB memory and 256 GB of storage).
