Software AG is driving IoT business outcomes faster through big data and analytics. The Germany-based software vendor this month released version 9.9 of its Apama Streaming Analytics platform for streaming analytics and intelligent, automated action on fast-moving big data.

The platform combines messaging, in-memory data management, event processing and visualization, which can manage vast data streams that can turn insight into action. New functionality enhancements include market surveillance, fraud detection and predictive maintenance.

"This release will help business analysts monitor connected devices in the Internet of Things, operate across cloud or on-premises IT deployments, and, include predictive analytics," said Dr. Giles Nelson, senior vice president of product strategy and marketing, in a statement.
