Adtran Delivers Cloud-Based Tool Suite For Network Operators

Networking and communications equipment provider Adtran this month unveiled a suite of cloud-based tools for network operators.

The latest suite of tools -- ProCloud Subscriber -- will ease the creation, delivery and management of broadband services for operators. Pre-provisioning and deploying new equipment associated with these services is a burden on time and resources for many service providers, according to Adtran.

The ProCloud Subscriber orchestration software suite includes features like automated subscriber activation, subscriber analytics, as well as a subscriber portal for deeper network visibility. The suite is based on Adtran's software-defined networking-based Mosiac Cloud architecture, the Huntsville, Ala.-based provider said.
