Be A Good ‘General Contractor’

No one solution provider is going to be an expert. To be successful is to leverage the entire team, and not just your own employees, Mache said.

Solution providers should strive to be good general contractors, he said.

"You don’t have to be the expert in everything, you just have to leverage others -- the hosted voice providers, the Infrastructure-as-a-Service providers – these are the electricians and plumbers, and your job is to coordinate them and bring them to the table when you need to," he said.
