For a startup solution provider who might not have enough commissions, why work with a master agent in the beginning?
I forged a relationship with Intelisys for a lot of different reasons. Certainly one of those [reasons] was the Advanced Commissions Program; [also] things like the fact that they can [bill the end customer]. Being aligned with a master really gives small solution providers a lot of good benefits and takes some of the risk [associated with] working with telecom providers directly away.
In regard to the ACP I leveraged, that was really the financial backing I needed, at least personally, to get my [company] up and working … Intelisys certainly helped keep me afloat during those long startup months …
