What insights did you gain from the event? (Part 2)

[Also,] the lack of diversity in our industry was really apparent. … How do we increase diversity in the whole tech pipeline? ... It's still for the lack of a better way to say it … a white man's vocation.

[In addition,] we need to be having more integration though our K-through-12 systems. We need to have better mechanisms and better programs within the university systems and we need to have better ways to take non-traditional people that are underemployed or unemployed and bring them into this vocation.
