Dell EMC's Cook: Partners Warming Up To New Marketing Initiative

How are you helping partners best use their marketing development funds?
Inside the Marketing Institute, we previously had training available for partners that was really how to leverage and use MDF. It was a bit of training guidance around the MDF policy. But what we're really expanding it to be is [helping them] become more self-serving in their marketing efforts and endeavors. How can we over time open up some of the methodology, spot leadership and capabilities that we have inside Dell EMC on how to maximize digital and social marketing? That we're going to build out over time. But early engagement around the overall Partner Academy ... that is going to be a requirement that they complete the training in order to maintain their tier status at the end of next year.
