'Are They Locked Out? Umm, We Think So'

A narrow majority of IT professionals surveyed -- 55 percent -- are very confident that all former employees can no longer access corporate applications. But 44 percent are not very confident in saying that.

What may be even more concerning is that almost half of organizations represented in the survey – 48 percent – are aware that former employees still have access to those applications. And, half admit that ex-employees' accounts remain active once they have left the company for longer than a day.
