Avnet Adds AT&T IoT Managed Services

Avnet said at Mobile World Congress that it will add AT&T's IoT managed services to its overall IoT offering. This enables Avnet to seamlessly integrate AT&T's cloud application development tools into its offerings. As part of the partnership, Avnet unveiled the Avnet Global LTE IoT Starter Kit, powered by AT&T, which is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2017 and offers a complete development track for sensor to cloud applications and services.

Avnet and AT&T had previously collaborated on IoT initiatives, including the cellular IoT starter kit and an LTE IoT add-on kit.
