Microsoft's Response To The Findings

A spokesman for Microsoft said the software giant did not have anyone available to comment on the survey findings when contacted by ITBestOfBreed.

However, Pyle said he showed Microsoft the findings. "They thought it was very appealing, eye opening in some ways," he told ITBestOfBreed. "They thought it was a good piece of work."

"I spoke to my channel executive [with Microsoft, who] manages a lot of different partners," Pyle said. "He thought it was very valuable and said he had never seen anything like it."
