About six of every seven organizations in the survey – 86 percent – that use colocation plan to either maintain or increase their usage over the next two to four years, slightly more in mid-sized organizations (between 150 and 999 end users), Peak 10 found.

Colocation is a preferred strategy "when support needs are high," said Mike Fuhrman, chief technology officer for Peak 10.
