The message from Weinstein was not lost on one solution provider who was at the Midsize Enterprise Summit.
Miranda Davis, a business development representative for Application Consulting Training Solutions (ACTS), a solution provider based in Jacksonville, Fla., said her company recognizes the value of vendor management “because we (also) provide professional services and consultative services.” [Davis did not attend Weinstein’s session.]
ACTS takes a “team” approach to vendor management with a goal of trying to help customers focus on more strategic initiatives. In fact, she said, one IT director for a midmarket customer has been “very thankful” for building and keeping its relationship with ACTS.
