Survey Overview

For the purpose of the study, Symantec tested smart IoT devices that ranged from thermostats, alarms, lighting and energy management systems. Symantec also looked at IoT venders with competing wireless standards including Z-Wave, Zigbee, Powerline, and Bluetooth v4.0.
