Dell EMC VxRail All-Flash On A Blistering Pace

In its second full quarter as a combined company, Dell EMC shipped nearly 400 hyper-convergence units through the channel, according to NPD. That gave the privately held IT giant unit share of about 9 percent and represented growth of more than 1,200 percent, mostly thanks to its fast-growing all-flash VxRail S470. Since Dell's $58 billion acquisition of EMC last September, VxRail appliances have been shipping with Dell PowerEdge servers.
