The survey touched upon the long-held view of a disconnect between IT and the business units. How does Softchoice help understand both sides?
Oftentimes, we will start and have the conversation with IT, but oftentimes we'll facilitate a conversation that crosses both the business and IT [sides]. We do work with vision and strategy to really help them understand. We have a philosophy of "consult, implement, manage" and the consulting piece is not just consult with IT, but it's also to consult with the stakeholders in the business to see and often facilitate that translation point between business needs and technology so that the two can come together toward an outcome that’s consistent.
