Successful MSSPs are moving beyond simply providing monitor-and-alert services and are building teams to assist clients with investigating security incidents. Some MSSPs interviewed by IT Best of Breed will help clients identify and address configuration weaknesses and dangerous security vulnerabilities.

Forrester cited AT&T for its threat detection capabilities stemming from its large customer base estimated at 3,000 clients globally.
