There is greater concern among the IT experts about ransomware this year than in 2015.

The Intermedia survey found that 37 percent of survey respondents were either very or extremely concerned about ransomware attacks on their customers this year. That’s up from 33 percent in 2015.

But the concern is at its highest among managed service providers: Twenty-three percent of MSPs represented in the survey said they were “extremely” concerned, compared with just 13 percent for the entire survey field.
