How Can Solution Providers Help Defeat Ransomware?

Solution providers are getting whacked with some of the blame.

Almost half of the IT experts surveyed said they had seen some sort of increase in the volume of support inquires tied to ransomware during 2015. But more than one in four – 27 percent – said their customers were very likely or certain to hold them responsible if they were to become a victim of ransomware.

But nearly two-thirds of IT experts surveyed believe that help from law enforcement is lacking. Sixty-five percent of the survey field believes law enforcement’s efforts are inadequate, while 3 percent label it as excessive.
