IT leaders at the smaller firms registered, on average, lower scores than the entire survey field on five key measures: general IT services, security, infrastructure, skilled IT workforce and overall IT confidence.

The results express “concerns about their ability to protect and support their organizations," Intermedia CEO Michael Gold said in a statement. "This uncertainty presents MSPs with a real opportunity to help SMBs that don’t have the resources to run IT on their own.”
