Top DevOps Investments For 2017

If you have a DevOps practice, you have a one-in-four chance of landing some consulting work this year, the survey uncovered. Twenty-six percent of respondents indicated they would engage a consulting firm with a DevOps practice this year.

But more businesses will apparently invest in internal resources, topped by new hires with the necessary skills, redesigning of processes to drive DevOps and new tools –- each cited by 39 percent of the survey pool. Right behind them, at 38 percent, are investments in training for development and operations people.
