Change Stands In The Way

Most of the survey base – 53 percent - said a big challenge in completing a digital transformation was getting non-IT departments to overcome a fear of "massive change." An even larger portion – 57 percent – cited helping employees use modern tools and methods.

"When you look at change management, a lot of times, people think that when you're done building a toolset, you're done," said Marek. "That’s not true."

"You need to make sure people adopt the new toolset because of that fear, that concern that they're not going to do something right, or they're going to [stick with] the processes they've been doing for years."
