The centralized programmability of software-defined networking and software-defined data centers will make it easier for internal service provider to provision and manage multiple services across a single infrastructure, according to Logicalis.
More than four-fifths of CIOs said software-defined technology will affect their company's IT services and delivery strategy, with 61 percent expecting to feel the impact within three years and 34 percent saying the changes will come within two years.
