Audit data access and sharing beyond the network

Most enterprise IT departments have the ability to audit data access and usage by users when they are at one of the company’s secure network locations. But many IT departments haven’t set up auditing capabilities for data that has been downloaded from the company’s servers and resides on a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
