Encrypt data on mobile devices

Encryption adds another layer of security to data, which is particularly important when it’s accessed or shared outside the security of the corporate network. The sensitive data on any portable device used beyond your corporate network’s parameters, such as PC and Mac laptops and removable media devices (including portable USB drives), should be fully encrypted. In addition, consider deploying a secure container on tablets and smartphones. The container serves as a partitioned, secure ‘sandbox’ in which to isolate and encrypt confidential corporate data and applications from the user’s personal data and apps that may reside on the same mobile device.
