Hybrids Preferred

We've reached the day when just about every business, of every size and in every industry is using at least some cloud-based computing resources.

A whopping 93 percent of the companies RightScale polled are already running cloud applications or experimenting with various IaaS providers. Most of those—88 percent of the total—are using public clouds, with another 63 percent have deployed workloads in private clouds.

And almost 60 percent of respondents are using both public and private cloud resources for a hybrid environment.
