Although Anderson is not familiar with the specifics of Donald Trump's data operations, he said early signs are not positive.

"I know there are some serious holes over there," Anderson said. "However his data operation is set up, he's going to go up against a machine in Hillary Clinton, and he better be prepared to fight for every dollar, every grassroots activist and every vote."

Anderson maintains that the Cruz campaign's data hierarchy and infrastructure are easily the best in the Republican Party.
