Education Market Is Key
 
Driven by Common Core standards, solution providers said they are all seeing a massive opportunity in the education market over the next year. CDW SVP and CFO Ann Ziegler said the company has been moving on the education opportunity for months now and has seen "great performance" driven in particular over the past 18 months in the market. The opportunity isn't expected to slow down, either, Ziegler said, citing data that shows 50 percent of schools have yet to become Common Core compliant. Behind the devices, Ziegler said there is also an opportunity for upgrading the infrastructure in education, spurred by a $1 billion investment in both 2015 and 2016 by the FCC to schools and public libraries.
