Going International

Both distributors and solution providers mentioned going international as a new frontier of growth in 2015. For example, PC Connection CFO Joe Driscoll said the solution provider hasn't "aggressively" pursued the international market, but it is a "large market we could try to tap into." CDW SVP and CFO Ann Ziegler said CDW has already started moving on the international opportunity, with its acquisition of Kelway earlier this year. CEO Ken Lamneck said Insight is also starting to see international growth pick up in hardware sales, and software sales are consistent across all geographies. Lamneck said Insight is working to build out its services footprint in Europe and other regions over the next year or so.
