The Payoffs Of A Partner’s PBX-To-Hosted-Voice Migration

What was the first step ACE took when work began with A.T. Cross?

Upon coming into the A.T. Cross environment, ACE began with a complete overhaul of the company's existing infrastructure, Gregoire said. The company had a legacy PBX system with many extensions, so ACE set out to find how many extensions existed and where extensions were ringing to. ACE also spent time dissecting the company's current phone bills.

"The phone was antiquated and even IT had no idea where their phone lines went, but they were paying for them and they were spending a tremendous amount of money on international calling," he said.

An important part of ACE's business is doing the legwork ahead of any deployment, Gregoire explained. That helps make a transition from old to new equipment “a lot smoother” and more effective, he said.
