Do you tout the potential cost savings opportunities when working with other businesses?

"We absolutely tell other companies about it. But I don't tell companies; 'I'm going to save you money,' I tell them; 'I'm pretty sure I'm going to find ways that you are doing something outdated,'" Gregoire said.

ACE got its start as an auditing company, so the firm knows what to look for when it enters a customer's environment, he said.  More often than not, ACE can sniff out lines that aren't being used anymore, similar to A.T. Cross's legacy voice deployment.

ACE also focuses on the project management piece of a deployment after the contract is sold. "We are there making sure customers get what they signed up for," he said. "There is still lots of provisioning and engineer work to be done after the deal is complete."
