Dawson stressed that if women find their own unique feature and help other women build confidence in the workplace, what they will get in return is "amazing."

The key to building mentorships with other women is networking, she said.

"Why have I never had to look for a job?" said Dawson. "If someone asks to get coffee, I always say yes. If you are out there helping and connecting with other women, you will get back much more than you gave."
