Be A Mentor

Dawson said that she intentionally sought out women while working at Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft to hire or connect with them. She said women should cultivate relationships and mentorships with younger women to be role models.

"If you have the priveledge of leading people, then intentionally go do it," said Dawson. "Go find a mentor, work with other women. Men find the guy that will bring them along. We need to do it intentionally, figure out what you need and what you can provide.
