Intentionally Support Other Women

Dawson stressed that women need to be supportive of one another in the workplace.

"For me this came especially from working for women leaders, where I went into a position thinking that because they were a women leader and they fought so hard to become a CEO, of course they're going to support other women around them. I can't tell you how many times I've met women at the very top of leadership, who not only aren't empowering other women, but are surrounding themselves with men. Not only are they not helping you, but they are keeping a distance," said Dawson.
