Dell Survey Sees Partner Opportunities In Unified Communications

The more widely UC systems are deployed, the higher the costs associated with those deployments. But the inability to see and track UC usage and adoption among workers makes a return on investment difficult to calculate, the Dell survey argues. The survey found that 55 percent of respondents spend time every week responding to UC problems. Their fear is that when UC fails, users will abandon the platform for unsupported communication tools.

Partner Opportunity: Partners can take employee communications problems off the hands of the customer's IT department. A faster, more complete response to UC problems could encourage users to stick with the system rather than ditch it for their personal devices.
