Batman didn't clutter up his Batmobile with phone numbers or domain names, which Stephens said was the inspiration for the clean, simple look of the Geekmobiles.
The first Geekmobile was a 1958 vehicle from France which Stephens bought for $2,200 and drove slowly on the highway so that people would notice the Geek Squad logo on the side as they were passing him.
Stephens knew he wanted to sell Geek Squad services to people with disposable income, so he learned what times shows were letting out from the Minneapolis Opera Center and slowly did laps around the facility.
Calls would pile up for the next couple of days, he said.
